I put this out a half hour or so before the Lyft IPO’s opening trade on the Nasdaq this past Friday. I think we as professional market participants sometimes take for granted how much we understand about the mechanics of things like underwriting and new issues that the public just doesn’t grasp.
We should be using this superpower for good, not evil. Blown away that this has 100,000 views. Maybe I should be doing more of this sort of thing (lol, if I get a 25th hour of the day).
