The Trump Economy: My MSNBC hit last night

Last night I did a segment on Stephanie Ruhle’s MSNBC election special live from 30 Rock to talk about the Trump economy, and why the President is cluttering his midterm campaign push with caravan stuff instead. It makes no sense to me that Trump isn’t focused entirely on the economic situation because, by and large, it’s very good. Of course, if you’re a shareholder in the stock market it’s even better for you than it is for everyone else, and maybe that’s the part he doesn’t want to get into.

Stephanie Ruhle explains how the current economy isn’t exactly helping everyone – including Republican candidates at the polls. Weighing in: CNBC Contributor Josh Brown, former Congressman Steve Israel, former Republican strategist Steve Schmidt, and Vanity Fair Special Correspondent Bill Cohan.
