StreetInsider:

FANG, the acronym for Facebook (NASDAQ: FB), Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN), Neflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) and Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL), was the trade of the year for 2015, rising an average 81%. However, top Internet analyst Mark Maheney from RBC Capital has some new predictions for 2016: BAGEL.

BAGEL stands for Alibaba (NYSE: BABA), Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN), Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL), Expedia (NASDAQ: EXPE) and LinkedIn (NYSE: LNKD).

Bloomberg:

Millennials are about to be able to invest in one of their favorite things: themselves.

As companies from every industry trip over each other to appeal to a generation of 18-to-33-year-olds, we can all look forward to an exchange-traded fund focused on this very demographic as ETF provider Global X just filed for the first millennial generation ETF.

If you’ve ever got a feeling coming over you that investors are learning from the past and behaving more rationally, my suggestion is to give it a few days. You’ll get over that notion in no time at all.
