SNV: Daft Punk is Playing at My House

Welcome to Saturday Night Video…

Chances are that if you’re a music fan into new hotness, the long-awaited and just-released Daft Punk album will be playing where you live all weekend long.

Out this week, Random Access Memories is loaded with great playing, orchestral flourishes, sick guest appearances and futuristic tracks – everything we’ve been promised and more. It could be a huge record and possibly bring in a whole new generation of fans who are too young to remember (or be aware of) Homework and the 90’s stuff.

Pitchfork gave it an 8.8 but I can tell they wanted it to be a 10, they just didn’t want to come off as fawning.
