Saturday Night Video: Bowie Returns to Earth!

What you’re about to see is awfully strange – David Bowie, now pushing 66 years old and ten years removed from his last album in 2003, is out with a new record, The Next Day, and a new video for the single ‘The Stars (Are Out Tonight’.

The video features David and the Bowie lookalike actress Tilda Swinton playing a normal 1950’s-esque couple who are for some reason being tormented by a pair of movie stars. It’s typically strange, exactly what you’d expect.

The song, like the rest of the album, is produced by Bowie’s long-time collaborator from his 1970’s heyday Tony Visconti.
