I have to confess, I have no idea what this Sound City project of Dave Grohl’s is – but if it means more of what he did last night, I’m down.
Grohl assembled a supergroup of 17 musicians – from members of Rage Against the Machine to Stevie Nicks – and together they blazed though a three hour set of covers with Foo Fighters as the “house band.” There’s a documentary film and album somehow involved as well.
