Kennedy Center Led Zeppelin Tribute (Video)

The greatest band in history (yes they are) was feted last night at the Kennedy Center.

Below, watch Lenny Kravitz tear into ‘Whole Lotta Love’ followed by Heart’s performance of ‘Stairway’, which ends up bringing Robert Plant to tears.  Then Obama explains why the legacy of Led Zep is so monumental (in case you didn’t know).  There was also a performance of ‘Black Dog’ by Foo Fighters in which Dave Grohl switched to play drums as tribute to Bonham, but I can’t find it online yet.

Anyway, check this out:

Want more? I recommended the new Led Zeppelin live album Celebration Day earlier this month here.
