Chart o' the Day: Labor Force Persistence

Today’s chart comes from Phil Izzo’s piece at Real Time Economics.  In it, he takes a look at how many weeks people search for a job before giving up and leaving the labor force entirely…

The bad news is that long-term unemployment is still a huge issue, the good news is that the unemployed are not giving up or going down without a fight.
