Last week I began my week moderating a Social Media Week event live at the Bloomberg mothership. The panel was about how financial advisors and brokers can use social media, stay compliant and maintain the authenticity that the medium demands in order to find success.
The panelists were Joanna Belbey of Actiance, Jaime Fitzgerald of Fitzgerald Analytics and Eric Rehl from Robert W Baird. A lot of people write about and discuss this issue but have very little real-world expertise. These panelists, however, have their hands in the soil and have been working with some of the biggest financial firms on The Street as we all attempt to figure this out.
