The most disruptive and important technology company on planet earth right now is celebrating its 5th birthday today. As I’ve said many times, Facebook is lame, Twitter is incredible.
There are a million reasons why. My social media roadmap over the next five years envisions Twitter as the world’s very first information utility service, so much bigger and more important than Facebook or even Google or any 10 content providers put together.
Anyway, I’m in the minority in that opinion but I’ll be right. Here’s the video from their new site discover.twitter.com that is clearly meant to drive more regular folks to the service and really blow its usage through the roof. I think it’ll work.
