Barry Ritholtz and Ray Dalio talk Wall Street, Careers and More

By now, my partner Barry has interviewed pretty much every major figure in modern finance and investing for his radio show – you name it, he’s done it. Howard Marks, Jeff Gundlach, Jim Chanos, Lee Cooperman, Arthur Levitt, Ken Fisher, Ric Edelman, Jack Bogle, Marc Andreessen, Ed Thorpe, the list is glittering with big names and it’s literally endless. But Ray Dalio was always on his wish list.

No one has become more renowned in the hedge fund world for the marriage of consistent process with the acceptance that things change and no one can be right all the time. Bridgewater is a paragon of the evidence-based investment idea, even though its methods are far beyond what most firms are able (willing?) to do.

I send you now to the brand new interview Barry did with Ray this week in New York City for Bloomberg’s Masters In Business:

Ray Dalio on Failure, Meaningful Work and Relationships (Bloomberg)
