Bill Nygren: Why Macro Matters Very Little

One of the coolest things about my regular Fast Money gig is that I get to ask questions of some of the legendary investors and money managers they book as guests each week.  Yesterday Bill Nygren of the Oakmark Funds came on the show to talk about where he sees value in the markets.  Everyone always asks these guys to throw out a stock pick or two but I’m always more interested (as I think you are) in his process and methodology.

Below, I ask Nygren about whether or not he is trying to incorporate macro stuff into his stock selection process (like so many others these days).  His answer was awesome, I wish there were more discussions like this on TV and the radio when the big dogs come on.
