Joss Stone Covers Broken Bells

A couple of years ago James Mercer, lead singer for the Shins, hooked up with musician / producer Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley, the Grey Album) and together they formed Broken Bells.  They put out one of the best records of the new decade so far and the lead single, The High Road, was everywhere – most notably played over a season one episode of How to Make it in America.

But it probably should have been an even bigger song than it was, so it’s cool to see that Joss Stone just covered it as part of her forthcoming album (Soul Sessions 2).
