brunchwork Tuesday at 5pm ET

The team at brunchwork invited me to pop on and co-lead a session with Ashraf Karim, PayPal Head of Product for Customer Success & Insights. That will happen tomorrow afternoon at 5pm ET, 2pm PT. I’ve never been involved with one of these sessions so I don’t know much about how it will go. Ashraf will be talking about the trends in payments and transactions while I will be talking markets, wealth management and other stuff I know about. It’s a moderated Q&A and then opens up to discussions with the whole group.

As part of my schedule detox plan this summer, I’ve been saying no to almost every engagement offer that’s come my way. The only stuff I’ve been saying yes to is when I get a chance to talk to students, young professionals and groups where I think I can really make a difference early on in someone’s career. There’s not a lot I am qualified to help people with during a health crisis outside of giving my money and my time to where it can do some good. So I’m hoping this is one of those opportunities.
