The Global Economy Our Next President Has to Deal With

My friend John Mauldin has written an open letter to whomever our next president will be that outlines the specific global economic challenges he or she will have to deal with.

John very succinctly (by Mauldin standards) paints a not-so-pretty picture of what’s going on in Japan, Europe, China, Russia and the Americas, ranging from the deteriorating to the outright dire. Bulls will quibble that there are plenty of positives being left out, but the point of the exercise is to highlight the challenges.

And there are plenty.
