The New Food Pyramid

I’ve lost 31 pounds since Labor Day and for the first time in my life I’m actually paying attention to the stuff I’m eating.  Being healthy and working in NYC is kind of tough, the good stuff costs a fortune and the yummy stuff (which is not necessarily low-cal) is everywhere you turn.

Anyway, the US government is going to overhaul its old food pyramid (the one that told you to stuff your face with bread and steak).  Beating them to the punch, GOOD Magazine held a contest for their readers to submit their own.  My fave below (by Dan Lesage) followed by a link to check out the rest:
