Blogbanging the Eurozone Bailout

Futures are screaming in the pre-market, higher than I’ve ever seen them in my career, on news that the ECB and sundry agencies have “gone nuclear” to rescue the Eurozone.

I just now invented the term “blogbanging” to define the idea that when major news like the massive Euro Bailout comes out, every blog in creation will have a take on it.  I don’t have much to add, but here are the opinions and coverage I’m catching up with…

The Euro screeches higher against the yen as stocks explode overnight.  (Bloomberg)

The EU comes up with a trillion dollar package for the Eurozone.  (TBP)

US taxpayers are footing a nice chunk of the bill here via the IMF.  (ZeroHedge) and (Market-Ticker)

Gold prices are retreating this morning on diminished fears of a crisis.  (WSJMarketBeat)

Too much, too late to save Europe?  (FelixSalmon)

Goldman says that Greece notwithstanding, the S&P is still headed to 1250.  (PragCap)

Shock and Awe Part II as the major short squeeze begins.  (Mish)

Even Baruch gets in on the action!  (UltimiBarbarorum)
