Packy McCormick’s substack letter has become must-read for me every week. He started it at the beginning of the pandemic last March and has since grown to more than 42,000 subscribers. He’s writing about some of the most important technologies, trends, companies and concepts that all investors need to become familiar with.
But most importantly, he’s having fun. The exhilaration he’s expressing on the first anniversary of his publishing-turned-investment syndicate business reminds me a lot of myself back in 2011, 2012, 2013 here at TRB – I was escaping a brutal start to my career and things were finally clicking for me. The phones were ringing, important people were giving me props and a business was forming around my writing. Packy’s going through that now and it’s so cool to be a reader and experiencing that vicariously through him.
So here’s what I want you to do, and you can trust me on this, I never recommend anything that I’m not truly into – subscribe to Packy’s free substack letter and read the next two editions (No pressure, Packy, LMAO). If you love it as much as I do, share it with your friends and colleagues. And if you don’t? Unsub, no big deal.
Not Boring is a celebration of learning and applying new information and thinking about the future. These are three of the most important skills that every investor needs to work on, all the time, in order to stay relevant and in command.
