I had an amazing day Thursday spending some time with high school kids, talking about money, careers and investing. My colleagues Anthony and Dina Isola planned out a financial literacy week for them and I got to go out and share my story, along with my friends Phil Pearlman and JC Parets. Sometimes I forget how rewarding these experiences can be, especially with a small enough group that you can really make a connection and see the impact of what you’re saying start to sink in.

CNBC sent a crew out to capture some of the stuff we did, so look for that in the coming week. Thanks to the Stony Brook School for having us!

Speaking of CNBC, yesterday my colleague Ben Carlson made his debut on the Halftime Report to tell us about his new book, Don’t Fall For It – a look at the biggest financial scams through history and what today’s investors can learn from them. Here’s the clip!
