TONIGHT: Free Dead in the Park!

My firm Ritholtz Wealth Management and I are proud sponsors of this evening’s Free Dead in the Park concert being put on by my friend Steve Liesman (of CNBC) and his amazing Stella Blues Band. They’re commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead’s free Central Park show from 1968. The show is free to attend and all merchandise benefits the Riverkeeper organization, which cleaned up the Hudson decades ago and hasn’t stopped working to better our environment ever since.

Liesman is a great guitarist and front man for the group, I’ve seen them play five or six times over the years. This might be their most epic show, given the setting. Enter the park on East 72nd Street and walk west to the Naumburg Bandshell. They’re playing from 4 to 8, I’ll see you there!
