Fortune’s 2016 Roundtable: Insights from Jim Chanos, Savita Subramanian and more

It was my pleasure and honor to moderate the 2016 Investor Roundtable issue for Fortune Magazine.

When the editors approached me about the gig, I was really exited. When they told me I could help shape the panel and make some suggestions, it was a dream assignment. The other day, we met at the Time Life Building in midtown to talk about what’s happening now and how it might affect the investment markets in the new year.

My favorite quantitative analyst, Savita Subramanian (BAML), whose work you see here on the blog all the time, provided some important backdrop for the discussion. Jim Chanos brought the “glass is half empty” insights like only he can. We had an accomplished VC investor to discuss technology trends and one of the only natural resources fund managers in the world to be betting against oil over the last few years. I think you’ll find lots of interesting stuff in the article.
