Josh here – once again, the long bond trade is being blown out of advisor-managed accounts while an even more aggressive bet on the rise in rates – bank stocks – comes into vogue. I highlighted the bank stock breakout just as it was getting underway. Now it’s what all the cool kids are recommending.

Recall that we saw advisors loading up on floating rate funds two weeks ago and then blasting out of Treasury bond ETFs the week after. But the bet on banks is the most aggressive stance on rising rates yet.
