Saturday Night Video: New Public Enemy

Public Enemy’s ‘Fear of a Black Planet’ was one of the first CDs I ever owned. After learning it front to back, my friends and I then picked up ‘Nation of Millions’, ‘Bum Rush’, and ‘Apocalypse 91’.  Of course, our middle class Italian and Jewish parents were thrilled by this 😉

Anyway, PE is now considered to be one of the most important musical artists of all time (ranked 44 on Rolling Stone’s 2004 list) and this year they’ve been nominated as inductees into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (too be decided in April, I believe).  They’re also out with their 12th studio album, The Evil Empire Of Everything.

Here’s the lead track called Everything – the more I listen to it the more I like it…
