You Can't Have It Both Ways

Hey Partisan Hack Economic Pundits:

If the job losses from 2009 through 2010 were “Obama’s fault”, then surely by the same logic the job gains of 2011 and 2012 are to his credit, no?

Personally, I don’t think he deserves credit for the gains or the losses (and most presidents get too much blame or credit for the economies under their tenure).  But I’m allowed to say he doesn’t deserve any credit for yesterday’s good jobs report because I’m not one of the hacks that blamed him for the earlier bad reports.

So which is it, Don Luskin?  Huh, Steve Wynn?  Is the job growth Obama’s along with the earlier job losses?  Or does he have little to do with either one (as I suspect)?

Because you can’t have it both ways.

Now you understand why I refuse to affiliate with either political party – because the truth is ALWAYS somewhere in between and both sides will deny and lie their heads off without batting an eyelash when it’s their turn to do so.
