Media: A Catalyst for Goldman and Morgan? (no.)

I did the CNBC Fast Money Halftime Report today.  One of the more interesting items of the day concerned the possibility of $GS and $MS dropping their bank holding status to evade the new Volcker Rule proposal.

I don’t see it as a reason to get excited given the fact that there’s no way those two i-banks would have the guts in this political atmosphere to even try it.  Here’s the segment, enjoy!
