St. Patrick's Day 2011, 44th Street

My office is on the corner of 44th Street and 5th Ave – Ground Zero for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.  Translation: Drums, bagpipes and cute blond girls with shamrocks painted on their cheeks all day long.

And did I mention bagpipes?

The cool part about 44th Street is that it’s filled with all the marching bands warming up and getting into formation prior to joining the parade itself.  I got the below footage and photos with my iPhone just this morning, hopefully it’ll make you feel like you’re here.
