The Star of the Sell-Off Show

Rough day for everything except a handful of retailers with better-than-expected outlooks.  Gold, silver, stocks, bonds, domestic, emerging, commodities – you name it, they were red heading into the last half hour of trading.

And apparently, we do care about the Ireland sitch.  This will be one bailout we may not be directly on the hook for, but for some municipal bond investors the drama hits a bit too close to home.

So without further ado, allow me to present the new star of the sell-off show – the ETF that everyone is watching with baited breath as a gauge of how European things might be here in The States…
