TGIF Market Recap: Impossible Rally Continues

The Reformed Broker, AKA Colonel Mustard, here with today’s Market Recap…

Ford beat their numbers today, the sun was shining here in Manhattan, ummmm I don’t know.  I’m trying to come up with reasons for why the Dow was up triple digits all day, but I guess sometimes, there are no answers. 

Shortie spent yet another day on the run, even with many fundamental factors on his side. 

I saw Nouriel Roubini on 5th Avenue this morning wearing a sandwich sign that read “It’s Just a Bear Market Rally, Schmucks!”  No one was paying any attention, I guess we’ll see if he has his revenge when the stress tests come out.

Oh yeah, the Casino stocks went batsh#t yet again…unreal, peep the afternoon look:

The video above was shot by Phillips to show off their new 21:9 aspect ratio flat-screens.  I have no idea how they made this video clip, to me it seems impossible, much like the continued rally on The Street.  But I’ll enjoy it for what it is!
