The Annual G20 Picnic and Slumber Party: Anarchy in the U.K.

[vodpod id=ExternalVideo.804425&w=425&h=350&fv=%26rel%3D0%26border%3D0%26]
In the tradition of The Clash, The Sex Pistols and Guy Fawkes, London’s citizens have taken to the streets and declared Anarchy by the hundreds of thousands to protest in front of The Bank of England during this week’s G20 Circle Jerk.

The prevailing chant?  “ABOLISH MONEY”…yeah, its like that, now.

Here’s some color:

From The Independent:
Around 1,200 demonstrators were penned in front of the Bank of England as riot vans blocked off surrounding streets and stopped hundreds of other protesters from entering the square.

 And this…

At the junction of Threadneedle Street and Bartholomew Lane, masked and hooded men tried to breach police lines to get through to the climate camp in nearby Bishopsgate.  They were beaten back by police, who were pelted with empty beer cans, fruit and flour. At least one officer was seen with blood spurting from a cut on his forehead. Chants of “f*** the police” and “our street” were heard as police reinforcements were drafted in.

And this…

Then protesters turned to the nearby RBS building, smashing huge windows. Some with their faces covered were seen going into the building.
