Retraining Investment Bankers in New York City

The Manual

The Manual

According to a story in the New York Times, Mayor Michael Bloomberg plans to stem the loss of talent and jobs from the ailing financial sector by retraining investment bankers, similar to what Detroit has done with it’s laid-off auto workers.  With an expected 65,000 total jobs to be lost on Wall Street, will Bloomberg’s $15 million investment in the retraining program even make a dent?

Below is The Reformed Broker’s Top 10 Jobs Ex-Bankers Are Qualified For:

10.  Arch Duke

9.  Viscount

8.  Fuhrer

7.  Czar

6.  King

5.  Lord

4.  Overlord

3.  Dictator

2.  Consultant

1.  Emperor

Based on a mixture of experience and personality traits, I am more than certain that any of the above positions will suit the ex-Wall Street banker just fine, with very little retraining at all.
