Donald Trump Slashes Unemployment by 88% in six weeks!

Here’s Donald Trump, during the campaign, explaining why the real unemployment rate is 42%:

It’s not fake news, he literally said this on camera and people who don’t know anything nodded their heads and repeated it. And he didn’t say it once, but numerous times. Here is another version he gave:

“Don’t believe these phony numbers when you hear 4.9 (%) and 5% unemployment,” Trump told his supporters after winning the New Hampshire primary in early 2016. “The number’s probably 28, 29, as high as 35. In fact, I even heard recently 42%.”

In other instances, Trump suggested the unemployment number could be anywhere between 18% and 42%, calling the official number everything from “total fiction” to “one of the biggest hoaxes in American modern politics.”

On Friday, we were told by the BLS that, during Trump’s first full month as President this February, the unemployment rate fell to 4.7%.

This number, we have been informed by the White House, is not a phony hoax:

Sean Spicer spoke with the President about the jobs number Friday morning. He was told to relay Trump’s view that “they may have been phony in the past, but it’s very real now.”

What a remarkable turnaround for the labor force, in only 6 weeks! The real unemployment rate has fallen from 42% to 4.7%, a total drop in the number of unemployed people of roughly 88%!

He was right. We are winning bigly already – I’m almost sick of it!
