i'm not dead…

Just can’t quite lift my head from the pillow or keep my eyes open for long.  Got off the train at Penn Station with like 103 degree fever yesterday morning, got right back on the train home.  I was in so much uncontrollable agony I had lay on the floor next to the conductor’s booth (they loved that).

I’ve never been through shivering fits lasting 2 hours at a time before or late night sweats that required ice packs on my forehead.  I’m drinking tea when I get cold and icy mixtures of water and Gatorade when I get hot.  I also had this crazy delirium where I planned out China hiring Disney to turn the entire continent of Europe into a giant “reality” theme park, complete with required period costumes and everything.  It is the only long-term solution should the Europeans want to keep their retirement age and benefits.  So what, they have to pose for Asian tourists’ pictures and pointing for a few years , big deal.

(As you can tell) this is the sickest I’ve been in awhile, the good news is I’m getting better.  Just want to thank all you guys for the emails and calls and tweets, I know it’s jarring to see an hour go by where I don’t have something to say 🙂  It really means a lot to me that you guys were looking for me instead of unfollowing quietly during my absence.
