Tussle in the Russell – Year Highs in Sight

Have a quick look at the Russell 2000 weekly chart below.  As you can see, we’re a point or so off the year’s high (745) printed the week of April 26th.

This is notable in that we’re talking about a great big swathe of stocks, many of which were too small to have been direct beneficiaries of Government largesse and didn’t have the ability to simply focus on overseas sales to make up for a weak domestic economy.

We’re a small cap’s sneeze away from a breakout – if you’re not watching this tussle, you may be missing out on something big.
