MKM Partners cut their rating on Twitter due to lack of catalyst. They like the platform’s long-term potential but the lack of direction and relatively high valuation have them on the sidelines in the name for the time being.
In their list of things that could go right for shareholders, they mention a few potential acquirers:

Expect the rumor mill to be in full swing the longer twitter’s interim CEO remains, well, interim.
