Today in Moving the Goalposts

I have no comment on this, other than to say that some people make realistic promises and over-deliver, while other people say whatever they have to in order to close a sale, and then let someone else clean it up afterward.

I’ve been watching¬†people do both of these things¬†in the investing business for almost 20 years.

Other than that, it speaks for itself.

Josh here – don’t ever invest with someone who claims they can give you everything you want. Invest with people who speak in probabilities, not certainties, and who have the courage to tell you what you might not want to hear.
