Michael Shaoul is a PhD and CEO of both Marketfield Asset Management and old school brokerage firm Oscar Gruss & Sons. And a very smart motherfucker.

He draws a parallel between gold falling from 1900 to as low as 1150 and the S&P’s peak to trough collapse in 2008 yesterday on Bloomberg TV:
