Saturday Night Video: Stray Heart

Here’s the lead single off of Green Day’s new second album in their current series of three albums.

Confused yet? OK, this album is called ‘Dos‘ and it drops Tuesday. ‘Uno’ came out a month ago and the next one will be called ‘Tre’ (after drummer Tre Cool, natch).

The idea behind the triple albums seems to have been to put out a few bursts of original material that departs  from the 8-minute rock opera tracks and concept albums they’ve been doing for the last decade.  Uno, Dos and Tre take the band back to their roots as purveyors of sharp, punky pop anthems that get stuck in your head before you’ve even listened to them.

Mission accomplished so far.
