With trouble coming from both the SEC and the NY Attorney General over the Merrill Lynch acquisition, Ken Lewis is faced with a big decision – should he stay or should he go as CEO of Bank of America?  With apologies to the late Joe Strummer, here’s Kenny doing his rendition of The Clash‘s “Should I Stay or Should I Go?
____________________________________________

Holders, you gotta let me know
Should I stay or should I go?
If you say the bank’s still mine
I’ll fix our broken product lines
So you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

I ran the B.A.C.
I put John Thain over my knee
That bonus stuff was all on him
I was in Charlotte drinkin’ gin
Well come on and let me know
Should I Stay or should I go?

Should I stay or should I go now?
Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go this bank’s in trouble
And if I stay it will be double
So come on and let me know

This Merrill Lynch is killin’ me
But Paulson made me take it, see
Exactly what can i do now?
Don’t you know this bull was a cash cow?
Come on and let me know
Should I fix it or should I blow?

Should I stay or should I go now?
Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go this bank’s in trouble
And if I stay it will be double
So come on and let me know
